Mr. Yablon, a partner in Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's tax group, concentrates in federal income tax law with a particular emphasis on individual and business tax planning and real estate. His practice involves all aspects of tax-exempt organizations including charities and trade associations. Before entering private practice, Mr. Yablon was a clerk for Judge Cynthia Holcomb Hall of the U.S. Tax Court. He also was a Fulbright Scholar in comparative law at the University of Florence, Italy. Mr. Yablon is the author of numerous articles. He served on the board of advisors of Corporate Taxation magazine and is currently a member of the board of advisors of Taxation of Exempts. In addition, Mr. Yablon periodically publishes in Tax Notes magazine, "As Certain as Death - Quotations About Taxes," which is the largest collection of its type.
